Centre Practice Limited (‘Centre Practice’) does not offer medical advice and any medical information provided through this Website should be construed as general only and not be construed as constituting medical advice. Moreover any medical information given through this Website is provided without any liability on the part of Centre Practice and users of this Website acknowledge that that they have not relied on any warranties or representations on our part, whether express or implied. Further, and without limiting the foregoing, we do not represent or warrant that any medical information which appears in any part of the Website is accurate, complete, true, up to date, or available.

You should not rely on any medical information provided through this Website as an alternative to medical advice from your professional healthcare adviser. You should not rely on or use information provided through the Website as a reason to delay obtaining, ignoring, varying or determining medical advice or medical treatment. You should always seek prompt and appropriate medical advice from qualified healthcare professionals and doctors if you are suffering from any medical condition or if you have any medical queries or concerns.

You acknowledge and agree that you are at least 18 years of age and have legal capacity to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You are advised to print a copy of these Terms and Conditions or save them to your computer for future reference.

2) Intellectual property rights

Unless otherwise stated, Centre Practice owns the intellectual property rights in the Website and all information provided to you on-line and by email including all content, material and photographs. Subject to the licence below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.

3) Licence to use

You may view, or download for caching purposes, and print pages or text paragraphs from the Website and material provided by email for your own personal use only.

4) Limitations of Liability of Centre Practice

The information on this Website is provided free of charge, and you acknowledge that it would be unreasonable to hold us liable in respect of this Website and the information on this website.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on this Website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we commit to ensuring that the Website remains available or that the material on the Website is kept up to date.

The information delivered by email though our Service is provided by registered medical practitioners who are responsible for the information they provide, and you acknowledge that it would be unreasonable to hold Centre Practice liable in respect of this Service.

The liability of Centre Practice is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising under these terms and conditions or in connection with our Website, or email advisory Service whether arising in tort, contract, or otherwise.

5) Limitations of liability regarding email advice

Where doctors introduced through this Website provide information and services on-line on payment of a fee you acknowledge that it would be unreasonable to hold Centre Practice liable in respect of such information and services where it is provided in good faith.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information provided on-line is correct, comprehensive and up to date we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy.

Our liability is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising under these terms and conditions or in connection with the information and services provided on-line, whether arising in tort, contract, or otherwise.

6) Limitations of liability regarding imaging services

Where a doctor or other clinician introduced to you by Centre Practice provides a referral to a medical imaging centre on-line on payment of a fee you acknowledge that it would be unreasonable to hold Centre Practice or the referring doctor or other clinician liable in respect of the services provided to you by the imaging centre including the administration of your imaging appointment, the quality of the images and the accuracy of the report provided to you by the imaging centre as such matters are outside the control of Centre Practice or the referring doctor or other clinician.

You should be aware that when you are referred at your own request for medical imaging without a referral from your GP or Hospital Consultant, the referring doctor or other clinician introduced by Centre Practice may at the sole discretion of Centre Practice be a generalist and not a specialist; and where appropriate the referral may be made by a triage nurse, physiotherapist or any other healthcare professional who has the appropriate training in making referrals for medical imaging.

The healthcare professional will consider your request for referral and will approve your request only if it is judged appropriate according to the guidelines on referral set out by the 8th edition of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) Guidelines. These guidelines are accredited by NHS evidence, managed by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence. For further information see RCR Referral Guidelines.

Please note that the referral service provided by a doctor or other clinician introduced to you by Centre Practice is intended to facilitate a request for medical imaging. It does not imply that the doctor or other clinician introduced to you by Centre Practice is able to give you advice on your medical treatment. In order to obtain such advice on medical treatment it will be necessary for you to take the report from the Consultant Radiologist at the medical imaging centre to your GP or Hospital Consultant.

Should you not be registered with an NHS GP or should you require referral to an appropriate Hospital Consultant, Centre Practice can supply you with details of a Private GP or Private Hospital Consultant appropriate to your requirements. There is a fee payable for this service. Centre Practice can be contacted on  or alternately you can contact the on-line booking service through which your medical imaging was arranged.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information provided on-line and by email regarding any imaging services that the referring doctor or other clinician arrange is correct, comprehensive and up to date we cannot warrant its completeness or accuracy as this is beyond our control.

The liability of Centre Practice and the referring doctor or other clinician introduced to you by Centre Practice is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising under these terms and conditions or in connection with any referral to a medical imaging centre, whether arising in tort, contract, or otherwise.

7) Limitations of liability with regard to clinical services

Our liability is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law whether arising in tort, contract, or otherwise for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from any medical advice or treatment received the responsibility for which rests entirely with the doctor or clinician providing such advice or treatment.
